'Supporting the Profound
Good'
[Essay]
By Adam
Abraham
Though I grew up in a Baptist home,
since adulthood, I have maintained a comfortable
position of non-alignment with any particular
religious faith. Yet, I am not an agnostic. The
more I have learned about the universe and its
grand order—of the macrocosmic, microcosmic,
picocosmic and nanocosmic kind—the more I am in
absolute awe. My love, respect, and devotion are
to the whole that I’ve been blessed to see. This
includes both you and “me”.
I am awed by
the profound intelligence of the universe that we
have been able to thus far understand, and am
giddy with excitement about the mysteries that are
yet to be understood. I consider said intelligence
to be divine. Its existence is evident in every
reality that we have thus far become aware of in
any depth. As such, I refer to it as Universal
Intelligence. I revere and respect It, for though
I do not completely understand “how” It works, I
have learned and observed that It
responds—intelligently, lovingly, creatively,
ingeniously—to stimuli, and can dynamically change
its design. Realizing that we can also do this is
joyfully humbling.

[Ed. NOTE: Try this
wonderful and uplifting exercise.]

Just *think* about it...
EACH DAY receiving a 'check' for an amount of
money that many will toil for a year or more. This
is the prosperity game, and it begins with how we
think about abundance. Your goal is to go ahead
and spend it all, because you'll be getting even
more money tomorrow.
The first day you'll
receive $50,000. The next day you will receive
$60,000 and so on, adding $10,000 to the base
amount each day. In a short two weeks' time, you
will have received... and spent $1,610,000! Are
you ready to allow yourself to think at such
levels?
Ask the Universe to give you ideas
on what you would like to buy, or *create*.
To add more realism to the game, consider
plugging your purchases into an Excel spreadsheet.
See if you can find stuff on the web and get
prices and save pictures in a file. It can help
you get more involved in the process of spending
because if you're going out to spend $50,000,
you'll want to get a feel for the item.

SAN
DIEGO, CA (Dec. 8, 2002) Adults are the children
of the past, keepers of the Present, into which
the seeds of the future are planted. Children will
carry the torch of our examples, as they replace
us as adults. In this intersection of time and
space -- commonly called "Now" -- a child's vision
of his or her future is formed.
The extent
to which we instill a clear, present, and hopeful
vision of possibilities -- into EVERY child --
will largely influence just how "bright" the
future will be; the ones that we create as today's
adults, and that they create beyond
that.
Through her Encinitas, CA based
Indigo Yoga practice, Pamela Hollander works with
children, helping them to see their role as
*creators* of their experience in the Present,
that they will consciously choose to live and
*create* joyfully therein.
