Nutrition: Frank Fresh Thought for a Flatter Tummy
by Anna Marie

Hydrogenated fat is our tummy's worst enemy. This product is sticky and it does NOT break down. It mixes with sugar and white flour early in your digestive system, creating a waste product that is harder to push through a tube than toothpaste.

Hydrogenated fat doesn't move or break down on its own as plant fiber does. Instead it sticks and lines our intestines, and is responsible for the distended tummies that are so prevalent amongst us here in the U.S.

Our intestines are sometimes double and triple their normal size because of the accumulation of fecal matter -- yes *fecal* matter -- that lines them.

 Sprinkles from Heaven
by Carolyn Walstein

Everyday miracles are for people who pay attention. Miracles don’t have to be big, blazing occurrences, often they are just little “ah ha’s!” that mark our paths, give us guidance, reassure us that we are on the right path, and let us know we are loved by a Power Greater. “ Ask and ye shall receive!

 Changing the Perception of 'Me'
by Adrienne Cinelli

Today I realized the full extent to which we can change people's perception of ourselves simply by wanting to be perceived differently.

I had a weight problem for years... but this was resolved several years ago. Since then I haven't been overweight. But recently, I looked in the mirror and saw myself heavier. So I decided that until I stopped seeing
myself that way, I would attempt to make it so others didn't see me that way.

A Place Where 'Time' Stands Still

Beauty is said to be in the eye of the beholder. And yet, it is so subjective. Is there a consensus on what constitutes beauty? How do you know someone or something is beautiful? There are many ways.

 The Inner Rhythm
by Glenda Johnson

I was at a week-end retreat that included a drumming circle around the fire. At first, I couldn't for the life of me keep a beat or stay in time with the other drummers. We each seemed to be beating to a different beat, all working out our way of expressing who we were at the moment.

 Fresh Thought Snippets
[Here are a few snippets of Fresh Thought that were published recently on the Fresh Thought email list, an interactive companion to the eZine.]

by Adam Abraham (except where noted)

"Transformational ImMotility"
"When we assume that "where we are, is where we'll stay"... and are willing to fight for the 'honor' of proving ourselves 'right'... we will have succeeded in creating what appears to be *no* change."

"Necroambulism"
Closure to wonderful possibility and reality -- is the closest thing to death there is. There are many 'walking
dead' amongst us today.

By Highest Faith...
...is the only way to move, with grace, into the unknown.

Fresh Thought Vol. 1 No. 4 is published by Adam Abraham and Phaelos Books, and is based on the belief that (1) we are creators of our life experience, (2) life transformation is possible for all, (3) abundant living is the result of abundant thinking and feeling, and (4) there's enough abundance to go around through self-creation without "taking away" someone else's.

Fresh Though is about transformation: the birthright, power, and responsibility of each individual, irrespective of racial, ethnic, gender, religious, economic, national, or political orientation.

If you like where this is going, then please do two things: (1) give us your feedback, (2) forward a copy of this e-zine to others, and (3) encourage them to join.
