The answer that Adam Abraham will give to the inevitable
question of "where have you been all these years?" that is
sure to rise is, "figuring things out." Having passed his
50th birthday late in 2001, he has an idea or two about how "things"
-- as it relates to individual and social dynamics -- are done.
Mr. Abraham is the son of Alton Abraham (1926-1999),
who formed El Saturn Records in the late 1950's and was the major force
behind the legendary jazz group, Sun Ra and his Astro Ihnfinity Arkestra.
His father and mother divorced when he was still a toddler. But both
parents had a profound impact on his life. He attended the University
of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Architecture and Business.
He left college in his third year, and began his educational journey
in the school of life. His insights have been formed from many years
of observation, analysis, and introspection from an invisible position
"outside the loop."
Mr. Abraham would be a social science demographer's
worst nightmare. He will be an inspiration to "regular folk"
around the world. A "black" man from inner-city Chicago who
grew up in a broken home, raised by two women (mother and grandmother),
attended public school, was at times a "latchkey" child, and
college dropout, would be a longshot to shine in an intelligence test,
or win a "Most Likely to Succeed" nomination. But intelligent
and insightful he is, and succeed, he will. His presentation is principled,
well reasoned, ethical, religion and race neutral, and human spirit-centered.
After migrating to Southern California in 1979, Adam
Abraham spent a large portion of his life silently giving his
talents to enterprises and pursuits, some of which were quite mystical
and obscure. He spent many years studying the principals of mysticism,
eastern and western philosophy and science. Through it all he discovered
not only his writing voice, but there emerged the vision to seize
today's technological opportunities and use them to build an enterprise
that will last beyond tomorrow.
In 2004, Mr. Abraham left beloved California and
moved to Arizona, currently living in the East Valley suburban community of
Chandler.
